The EAP Program by Edu Innate Foundation is a transformative educational model tailored for students from Grade 6 to Grade 12, especially in rural, tribal, and under-resourced government schools. This initiative delivers hands-on, practical learning experiences through ecofriendly, curriculum-aligned Experiments, Activities, and Projects in Science and Mathematics. The goal is to strengthen conceptual understanding, boost student engagement, and ensure skill development for 21st-century challenges.
Current Situation in India (2024)
Infrastructure Availability
According to the UDISE+ 2023-24 report, 57.2% of schools have computers, and 53.9% have internet facilities, indicating improved infrastructure to support EAPs.
Teacher Well-being
The NCERT's 2024 survey highlights the significant impact of teachers' psychological health on student performance, emphasising the need for supportive environments to effectively implement EAPs.
Learning Outcomes
While specific data on EAPs' direct impact on student performance in Science and Mathematics is limited, the emphasis on experiential learning in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 underscores its perceived importance.
